Forget Emily in Paris—ModeSens has Jing in Paris!
This summer, ModeSens Fashion Director took a trip to Paris, the city of lights, romance and fashion! Jing even got access to 24S’ secret apartment, a place where styling magic happens! The apartment is everything you’d imagine: polished hardwood floors, creamy, textured couches, white walls with period details and, of course, a magnificent view of the Eiffel Tower!
Jing met with Hun, one of 24S stylists, who divulged the details about the secrets of French style. It is “effortless, logoless and timeless style,” Hun revealed to Jing. He recommends Chloé, Patou, Paco Rabanne, AMI Paris, Courrèges, Jacquemus, Kenzo, Mugler, and Isabel Marant as brands that “convey the best French essence.” When in Paris, dress like a Parisian—and that’s what Jing did next!
Look One: Bonjour, Paris!
What pieces symbolize the “Parisian look” better than a cute beret and something striped! Jing embraced the city of fashion with her “impression of French style” with this bold look. The red accessories “brighten up the whole look” and spark that sense of romance.
Jing recommends this Ganni maxi-dress for travel as it can be “styled in multiple ways.” “I can make it shorter and pair it with a denim skirt,” says Jing. “Or if I wear it with a pair of black patent ankle boots, the whole vibe changes for a chic city look!”

Look 2: South of France Glam
While Jing usually brings floral-printed and tropically-colored maxi dresses for her by-the-beach vacations, for a trip to the south of France, Jing went with an off-white color. Drawing inspiration from the sun-baked French resort towns of Cannes, Saint-Tropez and Nice, Jing accessorized her dress with navy and terracotta splashed straw totes and wedges.
Look 3: Love at First Blush
This pleated skirt in soft pink with a light flower print immediately caught Jing’s eye. Inspired by the romance of the city, she paired it with a baby blue top and toning accessories. Jing’s best style tips for days spent sightseeing are a pair of sneakers! “A pair of chic sneakers keep me in style and comfortable to walk around the city."
Look 4: La Vie en Rose
Jing recommends adding some fun to your busy working schedule with this look. While not pink, you will be walking in a field of flowers in these jeans by Isabel Marant. “The different shades of lilac on the floral pants bring such a happy and fresh vibe,” Jing says. Just pair the jeans with a beautifully cut white blazer and some fun heels!
