What size Gucci belt should I get?
The Gucci website says that for Double G belts, you measure your size from the outer edge of the belt buckle to the third hole of the strap. For standard belts, you can measure from the start of the strap to the third hole.
Of course, sizing varies depending on how you style your belt, and whether you go low- or high-rise. Gucci’s sizing is based on wearing it at your hips rather than waist. Generally, Gucci belts run a bit small so you’re better off sizing up if you’re not sure.
Can I get my Gucci belt resized?
Gucci will add up to two holes to the belt strap for you at their stores, though any more than this could compromise the strap. (This is why it’s a good idea to size up if you’re between sizes!)
If you don’t have a Gucci store nearby, you can visit a cobbler and ask them to punch new holes to adjust the size. Alternatively, you can try DIY-ing it yourself with a leather hole punch tool. This is the same that the cobbler uses, and it gives you full custom potential over the size of your belt – add as many holes as you like – just be sure to space them evenly with measuring tape.
