What excites you about LUISAVIAROMA?
LUISAVIAROMA is more than fashion, it encompasses music, art, interiors, beauty and lifestyle. The company isn’t afraid of new challenges or adventures and approaches each different aspect from 360° perspective.
What inspires you about fashion?
Fashion is inspiring because you can understand what is happening in society, culture, from different perspectives.
How do you select what brands to carry in LUISAVIAROMA?
It’s all about quality, passion and individuality. We select brands that represent our vision and fit seamlessly into the LUISAVIAROMA world.
What are your favorite brands? Why?
Balenciaga and Prada for sure, as well as some of the newer names Loewe and Jacquemus, they have really carved out a niche for themselves in the industry and have consistently shown strong collections.
Any special projects/ collaborations you can share more information with us about?
We just launched a new project ‘LVR Editions’, which has seen us collaborate closely with brands like Sergio Rossi, Dolce & Gabbana, Dilara Findikoglu (launching 21 July), Italia Independent (launching 4 August) and more. The most important thing was to create something engaging and exclusive that speaks directly to a contemporary international audience. We launched the new project in Florence on June 12, and our hope is to bring it to the world with a series of event in different cities. Each of the ‘Editions’ is available only at LVR.COM and is the result of a co-branded and co-created product and strategy.
Next year we will also open a new 21,528 square foot multifunctional space in Florence offering a wide range of products from clothing and accessories to interior design pieces and beauty, as well as a bar and a restaurant. All the co-branded LVR Editions will be re-released exclusively and be available for purchases in a dedication area.
What are the trends do you see going on in the fashion world?
Ease and wearability. The industry has really embraced comfort and off-duty understated styling.
What are some upcoming brands that excite you? Why?
Jacquemus, they are pushing boundaries and bridging the gap between wearability and directional design. The collections are very intriguing and distinct.
One is one piece that is a MUST-HAVE that you can’t live without?
A white t-shirt because you can wear it with everything from something fancy to simple jeans.
