Jewels in a Painting

The gemstones of Le Marché des Merveilles jewelry collection shimmer in an artistic way through Julia Hetta’s lens. Inspired by Flemish paintings from the Renaissance, the photographer employed techniques from the famous works for images that capture bracelets, rings and earrings. A dark light pervades the frame, and the line is mixed with objects that represent life and death in nature, including a bird’s nest, fruit and a pug.
