Bringing the House’s narrative full circle, the latest Gucci Valigeria campaign sees the celebrated actor Jungjae Lee journeying to The Savoy with emblematic luggage in hand. It was precisely at the historic London hotel that at the turn of the century, a young Guccio Gucci worked as a porter and encountered the magic of travel, connecting the dots between the fine leather suitcases that accompanied the international jet set and the craftsmanship he saw back at home in Florence.

The Global Brand Ambassador is captured in front of The Savoy’s iconic marquee and within the hotel’s flagship Royal Suite by Gucci, currently furnished with pieces from the Gucci Décor collection. An exploration of the House’s present as much as its past, the campaign spotlights how the founding narrative continues to persist within the Gucci Valigeria collection that includes the heritage-infused Gucci Savoy line—a nod to the significant role of the hotel in Gucci’s history—as well as the new Gucci Porter selection of GG monogram and Web-embellished aluminum Bank trolleys created in collaboration with FPM Milano.
