THE BEST KEPT SECRETS OF LE BON MARCHÉ RIVE GAUCHE'S SHOESHINE BOY
To take care of your just customized shoes and sneakers, the professional shoeshine men of Le Bon Marché Rive Gauche give your their best advice.
Keep them carefully!
"On a white pair of sneakers, seams are the first to darken. Since they are made of cotton, the action of time is often irrevocable but thanks to a mix of baking soda, a few drops of water and some elbow grease, they'll be whitened and rejuvenated."
"Living in a urban environnment, our shoe soles are often black striped. Periodically, rub out the soles with an eraser or some scouring cream: its microballs will slightly exfoliate the surface."
"To keep your sneakers clean and fresh, do not hesit to wash the insoles in machine. Textile shoes such as running sneakers will also appreciate to be machine-washed at 40°."
