Virgil's original reconstruction of ten Nike icons are finally complete
Following months of speculation after the Converse icon was postponed from the original 'The Ten' drop last year, Nike reps have remained resolute that the silhouette was not dropped from the collection and would release sometime early in 2018. Now, making good on their promise, Nike unveils Virgil Abloh's iteration of the classic Chuck Taylor hi-top sneaker. The deconstructed icon is built with translucent uppers, blue gradation on the outsole, and graphic "VULCANIZED" typography on the midsole in quintessential Abloh style. The official release date is still to be announced, but posts on the Nike and OFF-WHITE Instagram accounts suggest that the arrival of Virgil Abloh's latest Nike collaboration is imminent.
