London based Turkish designer Bora Aksu graduated from Central St Martin’s MA in 2002.Hailed as the star of the show by The Daily Telegraph, The Guardian and The Independent ; Bora had his debut off schedule show in February 2003.His debut show led him to receive the prestigious New Generation award by BFC. In total four consecutive years New Generation awards were given to Bora and has remained part of the London Fashion Week schedule ever since. Through his career he has developed a very distinct signature. Romantic but always with a darker twist his demi-couture pieces are full of elegance, intrigue and seduction. In 2013 Bora was named designer of the year At the Elle Style Awards Turkey. During his career Aksu has collaborated with many international brands . He also dress and create costumes for celebrities including Tori-Amos, Keira Knightley, Olivia Palermo, Sienna Miller, Paloma Faith and many others.
