CHEESIN was established in Guangzhou, China in 2017. The brand name was derived from the Cantonese dialect "Chee Seen"(offbeat).

The founding team is constituted of idealistic "patients" who work in the field of art and culture. They reached consensus on the brand concept which centers on the idea，"ANTI-NORMAL", uses bold colors, applies high-end technologies, and present the classic style in 90th in innovative ways with elements such as casual and sports. This integrates the streets style with futurism and conveys the attitude of the brand and its founders.

"Events" are key projects based on the spirit of CHEESIN. Each year, CHEESIN launches "events" that promote CHEESIN’s joint designs with its favorite artists. These joint designs feature collaborators’ own characteristics and allow them to reinterpret and redefine the concept "CHEESIN" to perfectly present the multi-culture "events".
