Ake Nordin founded Fjällräven in a basement in Orsnskoldsvik, a city in the north of Sweden. His dream was to develop timeless, functional and durable outdoor equipment that inspires people to discover the great outdoors while being respectful towards human beings, animals and nature. Since first founded in 1960, Fjällräven continues to be driven by this mission and dream.
