Designed and crafted in a multidisciplinary creative studio in Barcelona, lool Eyewear, was initially launched at the Silmo Paris trade show in 2016. Inspired by both urbanism and industrial design, entrepreneur Alex Carrasco and product designer Aris Rubio released Tectonic, Stereotomic, and The Grid, referencing an architectural vernacular that alludes to the aesthetic influence it has on their designs. Tectonic and Stereotomic respectively feature optical eyewear and sunglasses in a range of round or square stainless steel frames manufactured both by hand and machine, using the most lightweight wiring necessary to maintain proper tension in the frame. The Grid collection carries an equally modern appeal with distinct features and structural elements exhibited through striking perforations and geometric shapes. Known for their patented screwless hinges and strong double bridge, lool’s emphasis on technical precision and innovation makes for three collections of durable, cutting-edge frames that exude boldness.
