Shieglee Ferreira dos Santos was born in Brazil’s Amzaon rainforest and grew up in the slums of Rio de Janeiro when she was a child. When she was little she dreamed of having her own pair of shoes. Her life changed when she was a teenager and moved to the Netherlands and studied fashion accessory design. Thirty years later, she now has her own shoe label, Uzurii. Together with her team , they make beautiful collections. The label actively supports charities to help disadvantaged youth to create a better life.
