Mr Junya Watanabe enlisted the help of workwear specialist Carhartt to piece together this chore jacket, part of his heavily patchworked AW17 collection. Made in the designer's native Japan from a collage of tough cotton-canvas, supple brown leather and traditional tweeds, it's finished with a woolly lining and padded sleeves that soften the boxy silhouette. The ribbed cuffs are an unexpected sporty accent that brings this heritage-inspired piece right up to the minute. Shown here with Junya Watanabe shirt, Dries Van Noten trousers, Dries Van Noten sneakers. Tan canvas, tonal-brown tweed, cream and brown leather - Brown corduroy collar, padded sleeves, orange and white ribbed cuffs, chest patch and buttoned flap pockets, two front patch pockets, internal pocket, fully lined - Button fastenings - Fabric1: 100% cotton; fabric2: 100% leather; fabric3: 93% wool, 5% nylon, 2% polyester; trim: 100% wool; rib: 50% cotton, 50% polyester; padding 100% polyester; lining: 70% acrylic, 30% polyester; sleeve lining: 100% cupro - Specialist clean - Made in Japan
