Product Description Altberg Desert Tabbing Boot - Classic Beige Product Description Altberg Desert Tabbing Boot - Classic Beige A hybrid of the classic Desert Microlite and Altberg’s Tabbing boot; lightweight and breathable. The key to the design is the new ergonomic last on which the boot is made.  The shape is based on a running shoe last, but has been adapted to incorporate all the features required in a lightweight military boot. The last/fitting is the new ergonomic A-Forme which allows the foot to take up its natural alignment in the boot, whilst supporting the arch and instep during the walking gait. The boot design is based on the Desert Microlite which has been in production for over 15 years and has been used in hot climates all over the world. The non-waterproof Cambrelle® lining along with 1000 denier cordura, makes this an extremely breathable hot weather boot.  The last (footshape) upon which it is made is the AForme® (men’s), which uses running shoe dynamics and technology.
