Zagora is an upcycled vintage leather flap bag reimagined with black and pink merino wool and metal accents, in collaboration with visual artist Chisara Vidale. Featuring a magnetic snap-button closure. Working alongside Chisara, we transformed this vintage bag into one of our signature pieces of wearable art. We replaced portions of the bag with felted and stitched merino wool, backed by robust recycled cotton canvas. We made a piercing into the side of the bag with metal eyelets, accented by a hanging streak of merino wool. This inside of the bag was then relined with organic bamboo silk. Each bag from this series is one-of-a-kind, with only five made. They're signed by Chisara, and identified by an edition number. Upcycled in our East London studio. Upcycled leather and merino wool exterior. Interior: 100% organic bamboo silk. Do not rub abrasive materials against the merino wool portion of the bag as this could cause excessive pilling.
