This season, Riccardo Tisci made his debut for Burberry, choosing to celebrate British culture whilst creating pieces that are both sophisticated and versatile. This all-over deer print became a key fabric in this collection, appearing on trench coats, bags, skirts and - perhaps most notably - this brown cotton deer print slogan shirt. With contrast black printed text reading 'why did they kill Bambi', the meaning behind the piece has been heavily speculated. Perhaps speaking to Tisci's channeling of British culture and the famed British sense of humor of self-depreciation and sarcasm - this could also a reference to the brand's recent decision to go fur-free under Tisci's creative control. Either way - it is clean, contemporary and utterly wearable. Featuring a classic collar, short sleeves, a half-zip front fastening, two front slip pockets and an all-over deer print.
