Its style is magnificent and its eight-sided bezel evokes the iconic Audemars Piguet Royal Oak. Today's offer features this original certified pre-owned women's octagon with ""Godron"" bracelet. It features a stainless steel case with an 18k bezel, a classic white Roman dial with blue steel ""sword"" hands, a sapphire topped crown, and a mechanical movement. Unlike the quartz version of the Santos, this more sought-after mechanical has an automatic movement and highlights the timeless art of traditional watchmaking. In addition to its beautiful condition, what sets this example apart from the others is its unique “Godron” bracelet. We were told that the bracelet was a special edition made only for one year in the 90s. It is entirely Cartier and presents in magnificent condition - approximately 9.7 out of 10. On the wrist it is almost like new. Its case is in perfect condition with slight signs of polishing on the bezel. Unlike many examples, it perfectly retains its original lightly stamped serial number. Its dial is like new. On the wrist, it presents itself as mint. Its adjustable bracelet features a mint look with only slight stretch. A master watchmaker has fully serviced the watch, which involves completely disassembling the movement, carefully inspecting each part, replacing any components that are too worn, reassembling and lubricating the movement, and performing timing testing and regulation in-depth (valued at $595). It runs strong and faithful, keeping essentially comparable time to a new Cartier in our test recording position. The gaskets they contain are known to make these watches difficult to wind manually, even after servicing. This one is easier to roll up than many.
