There is something re-assuring about a double-breasted suit. A menswear classic, it adds authority and poise. In part this is due to the cut of the cloth, fitted but still flattering and with a firm shoulder to accentuate the shape, but there is also the sub-conscious desire to stand tall as you button your jacket, so you fill your suit and command the room. Here we have chosen a flannel cloth (again a bit of a classic) from Fox Brothers in a rich blue Prince of Wales (ibid) so really you cannot go wrong.
