Using urushi as an adhesive, pure silver foil is applied to the dial and painted on top of it to express beautiful color tones. The image is of a forest dusk at the beginning of autumn leaves.  By applying a gradation coating to the top surface of the silver sulfide foil, a speckled pattern is created, bringing out the hues of the material.
