These shoes are loyal replicas of the first Colchester sneakers invented in 1892 which were rediscovered in 2004 during a real estate sale in Vista, California. Made from vulcanized rubber and canvas, the original sneakers were the first of its kind to protect the feet during the race, jumps and pivots on the soils of the gymnasium.
