This gives heat resistance to approximately 140 degrees Celsius or 284 Fahrenheit. Dark green baize was added to the reverse side to protect your table from scratches and from sliding. This design was fun to do and hopefully some of that joy comes across in the Harlequin placemat. Each has a signature registered trademark so you can be assured of owning the authentic product designed in the Cotswolds and made in small batches in England. The top surface is easy to wipe clean with a damp cloth or sponge. To get rid of sticky marks add a drop of washing up liquid to the cloth/sponge. Use a scrunched up piece of dry kitchen paper to wipe away crumbs from the baize backing. Store away from direct sunlight and direct heat for example a radiator to avoid warping. Never place in water as the placemat will delaminate. Eat, drink and be merry!
