The top surface is easy to wipe clean with a damp cloth or sponge. To get rid of sticky marks add a drop of washing up liquid to the cloth/sponge. Use a scrunched up piece of dry kitchen paper to wipe away crumbs from the baize backing. Store away from direct sunlight and direct heat for example a radiator to avoid warping. Never place in water as the placemat will delaminate.
