The blue Kiab Dress is a result of our cooperation with Goethe-Institut Indonesia. The dress was designed by the fair fashion label Black Velvet Circus, which is based in Hamburg, Germany. Using handwoven cotton, the weavers of Studio Naenna in Chiang Mai, Thailand, produced the dress and added traditional, artful embroideries of the Hmong People. For the Hmong People it is a long tradition to decorate their clothes with detailed cross stiched embroideries. The material of the dress is both, strong and very soft, which makes it the perfect dress to wear to every occasion.
