Teaming up with Danish brand Hay, New York-based artist Laila Gohar has created 'Sobremesa' a collection of tableware and kitchen accessories that celebrate food as a means for telling stories. As such, all items in the series are made for enjoyment around a lively table with company — apt for a series whose name describes the Spanish tradition of relaxing and enjoying idle moments, and each other’s company at the end of the meal.
