It’s no secret the late Issey Miyake was fashion’s unofficial prince of pleats. So much so that the designer dedicated a diffusion line to the origami-like folds in 1994 with Pleats Please Issey Miyake. The label's latest creation? The Turnip and Spinach trousers. Spun from a lightweight knit and shaped to a straight-leg silhouette, the heat-pressed corrugations are swathed in an abstract pattern that was taken from blurry photographs of vegetables.| Pleats Please Issey Miyake knitted trousers100% polyesterSlips onRegular fit, mid-rise, straight leg, elasticated waistband, slip pockets at front, abstract pattern, all-over pleat textureMachine wash coldMade in JapanSize 4: rise 13in / 33cm, inside leg 24.5in / 62cm, leg opening 16in / 41cmModel is 5ft 10in/1.78m and wears a size 4Lightweight, slight stretchThis garment’s sizing is based on height and doesn’t conform to standard sizes.
