Created in collaboration with surrealist artist Beto Val, the 'Butterbird' trinket tray by La DoubleJ encapsulates the maximalist style of the Milanese brand. Crafted by Veronese artisans, the multicolor design features a dreamlike scene handpainted on porcelain. A hummingbird with butterfly wings sits in the center of the composition, grasping a miniature serpent with a head at each end. A pink morning glory plant ornaments the sage green border. Delicate winged insects are hidden amid the stems. With an 18k gilt trim and dot detailing, the tray can be used to store keepsakes throughout the home, and be displayed alongside other pieces from the 'Fantastic Creatures' collection.
