American Buckle Combat Boots Brand new reproduction American 'rough out' combat boots with double buckle, with reversed leather uppers and rubber soles. Adopted as part of the M-1943 Uniform Ensemble. These boots replaced the standard rough-out boot worn in combination with gaiters, and was commonly worn from late mid-1944 onwards.
