The Nike Air VaporMax Plus is a modern upgrade to 1997's Air Max Plus. A neoprene upper is a surrounded by a TPU lacing cage made to resemble the TPU design welded across the side panels on the original Air Max Plus. A yellow ”Vm Air” logo on each heel is a nod to the ”Tn Air” branding seen on the 1997 runner as well. Further bringing the Air Max Plus' design into the 21st century, this upper sits on a VaporMax midsole.
