It's no secret Mr Raf Simons is a devoted fan of Mr Peter Saville's work at Factory Records - the designer first used the graphic artist's archive for his SS03 collection and has been featuring it whenever he can since. These pleated shorts have a cloth patch peeking out of the back pocket with Joy Division's posthumously compiled Substance album stitched in Wim Crouwel's New Alphabet typeface. They've been tailored in Italy from midnight-blue virgin wool in a classic straight-leg shape. Shown here with Maison Margiela T-shirt, Maison Margiela sneakers. Midnight-blue virgin wool - Belt loops, four pockets, front pleats - Button, hook and zip fastening - 100% virgin wool - Machine wash - Made in Italy
