The Quadra Ballerina is our signature square-toe ballerina flat. The Quadra is handmade in Italy by a traditional 'sewing and turning' stitching method, where the leather upper is sewn to the sole, creating a flexible, glove-like fit. Eledera is honored to partner with family-owned Italian workshops, who have been making ballerinas via these traditional techniques for over half a century. All Eledera footwear is handmade in Italy from luxury-grade certified materials. As leather is a natural material, variations in grain and color, as well as natural imperfections, may occur. Please store your ballerinas in a dry place, away from direct sunlight. Remove any excess moisture with a dry cloth or towel. Dark colors may transfer, so make sure to clean each pair with its own cloth. If you notice thinning on the leather sole, you can resole the shoes and add a rubber sole patch for additional protection. The leather will mold to your foot, and patina over time.
