Made from 50% linen and 50% cotton, our Nyx hat provides the perfect source of shade for the most sensitive of heads. The linen trim within the Nyx hat sits gently on the forehead, wicking away any moisture and providing relief for troubled skin. A layer of thick cotton within the brim ensures stability whilst retaining a wonderful “floppy” appeal (after much trial and error, we can confirm that a floppy hat without stability can rather impair a wearer’s vision!). 50% cotton, 50% linen We believe that the best wardrobe is one with timeless pieces you’ve loved season after season. In this spirit, and in order to preserve longevity, we suggest all our garments are cold hand washed separately with a natural based laundry detergent. After washing, be sure to straighten out your garments and dry flat. Keep away from harsh chemicals to protect the colour and avoid weakening the natural fibres within the fabrics - be careful as this can be said for the more “traditional” sun creams filled with many a nasty chemical! In the interest of reducing waste (and because there is nothing worse than huge labels in clothes that we all then painstakingly snip out) we hand-print our care labels in-house onto Oeko-Tex Standard 100 Certified cotton. These labels are then neatly tucked inside your garment before posting. For international orders these labels will be lightly sewn onto the internal label and can be removed by gently pulling the thread. You can then recycle your labels in your nearest “clothing and textiles” recycling bin.
