product description
The North Face 1996 Retro Nuptse 700-Fill Jacket Khaki Stone is a waist-length, quilted, 700-fill-down jacket. The Khaki Stone color palette features a Khaki body accented by a black shoulder placket and collar, a fuchsia lining, and zipper pulls. A hood stows in the collar, and zipper hand pockets accommodate stowing the jacket on the right side. Embroidered branding appears on the left chest and right rear shoulders. The North Face is synonymous with puffer jackets due to the Nuptse’s longevity, first released in 1996. Since then, The North Face has experimented with Nuptse’s color palettes, and they have updated its fabrication to include a recycled body, overlay, and lining; aside from that, the Nuptse remains true to its origins. Our experts feel that the best feature of Nuptse in Khaki Stone is its tricolor palette, which is rare among Nuptse jackets. Men's The North Face 1996 Retro Nuptse 700 Fill Jacket in Khaki Stone was released in Fall/Winter 2023 and retailed at $320.
about THE NORTH FACE
We are named for the coldest, most unforgiving side of a mountain. We have helped explorers reach the most unfathomable heights of the Himalayas. But The North Face® legend begins, ironically, on a beach. More precisely, San Francisco's North Beach neighborhood, at an altitude of only 150 feet above sea level. It was here in 1966 that two hiking enthusiasts resolved to follow their passions and founded a small mountaineering retail store. From the beginning, the brand committed to serving all those who desired to explore and to serving our natural wild lands by helping to conserve them. At our core, we believe exploration creates an indelible bond with the outdoors, inspiring people to protect our land and pass these beliefs down to the next generation.
