4-BAR STRIPE SINGLE-BREASTED OVERCOAT
You know those days when the sky is as grey as your mood? Of course you do. Cheer yourself up by pulling on this 4-Bar stripe shearling coat from Thom Browne. Featuring a notched collar, a front button fastening, long sleeves, button cuffs, a chest pocket, two front pockets, a mid-length, a rear central vent, a signature grosgrain loop tab, RWB details and a 4-Bar stripe.
Born in Pennsylvania in 1965, Thom Browne moved to New York City in 1997, where he worked in the creative department of Club Monaco, a position he kept until launching his own label. Believing that the modern ubiquity of casual dress makes for a gap in the market and lends the wearing of suits a sort of subversive edge, Browne has become known for his re-imagining of classic tailored cuts. He debuted his womenswear collection in 2003 and introduced his first full line of women’s ready-to-wear for spring 2011. Much like his menswear, his womenswear collection takes classic styles of dresses, jackets, and trousers—often in an American palette of red, white and navy—and adds edgy details such as sequined ginghams, textured weaves, and unique prints.
