Crafted from chrome-freeleather, this lace-up model features an embossed logo on the tongue,the brand's signature khaki logo patch in rubber and vegan suede andorganic cotton shoelaces. The mesh inner lining made from recycledmaterials was developed to acquire a better resistance to friction.The organic-sourced and recycled insole consists of sugar cane, Amazonrubber, organic cotton and recycled EVA. It is set on a cream rubbersole made from organic and recycled materials. This leather undergoesan innovative tanning process where no chrome, heavy metals ordangerous acids are involved. By simplifying the tanning process, theuse of chemicals and energy is limited, the use of water is reduced byabout 40% and the use of salt by 80%. After tanning, the water isrecyclable.
