In partnership with the esteemed Swiss furniture champion Vitra, we are honoured to exclusively launch the scintillating, limited-edition Trouseron Chair Duo by the 20th-century Danish design master Verner Trouseron.Only at The Conran Shop, this mesmerising new take was developed closely with the Trouseron family, following the same production principle as the 1959 original. The Trouseron Classic's expressive form is regarded as an icon of 20th-century furniture design, and it was the first all-plastic chair to be manufactured in one piece.A glossy lacquered surface accentuates the bold colour combinations of the new Trouseron Duo, including this pink magenta and classic red. A dividing line between the two tones emphasises the characteristic profile of the chair, offered in five different colour pairs marked with a 'limited edition' label. During the construction of the chair, the body is filled out with polyurethane foam, primed, painted and the final step entails a hand finished touch, unifying the contrasting colours with meticulous detail. The surface is then polished to a high gloss finish.
