product description
Alexander McQueen Vintage Blazer from Fall/Winter 1999 McQueen cited the cult horror film The Shining as the inspiration behind “The Overlook”. Yet what he presented was more sublime than frightening. Ensconced in a Victorian-themed snow globe, mannequins in McQueen's poetic collection feature impeccably tailored pieces, laser-cut hardware and intricate panel and patchwork details. All of this is present in this superb blazer. Precisely tailored to each person's shape, this sharp single-breasted blazer also features an integrated belt and elegant gold buckle. Beautifully cut, this garment also serves as a time capsule. A lasting reminder of McQueen's legacy, and that, grandiose and theatrical aside, McQueen was simply such an impressive designer and truly a master of his craft. Very good condition, no visible signs of alteration or damage. Size 42It. Would fit a 4-6 US, between an SM. Bust: 32.75"" Length: 23"" Waist: 28.25""
