Created by Louis Cartier in 1924, Cartier's Trinity collection attests to 'the rule of three' principle, which suggests that all good things come in threes. This version of the Trinity necklace deviates from the classic mix of white, yellow and rose gold, but it doesn't move away from the power of three, replacing the mixed metals with white gold, black ceramic and a diamond-encrusted band. These three interlaced and mobile bands, open for interpretation by the wearer, form a circle - a universal symbol of eternity and wholeness.
