Not many new designers could elicit the same level of excitement as Rejina Pyo did when she announced that she’d be turning her hand to accessories. But then Rejina Pyo isn’t most young designers. Korean-born, Saint Martin’s-trained Pyo’s eponymous brand has been blowing up ever since it caught the attention of street-style stars such as Pandora Sykes, Leandra Medine, Kate Foley and Camille Charrière. Her mock-croc pieces, perfectly in tune with this season’s ’70s vibe, do not disappoint. And she’s not the only breaking brand to mock the croc. Similarly, the footwear is a collaboration between Finnish shoe maker Iivo Evijärvi, who has carved a niche by re-purposing discarded vintage sneakers by hand.” --Lukas Vincent, founder and designer, Ex Infinitas.
