Combining beauty, simplicity and convenience, the 30ml spray offers our signature uncompromising perfumes in a compact size whilst drawing aesthetic inspiration from 20th century conceptual art and modernist design. In the spirit of Bauhaus, form follows function: a simple black cylinder in high shine polyethylene plastic with a matte anodised metal centre and magnetic cap. A most practical host for our iconic perfumes, both at home and on the go. About the Perfume: Composed in the fifties by Edmond Roudnitska, one of the most acclaimed perfumers of the 20th Century, it was never commercially produced and remained a legendary well-kept secret; Thérèse, Roudnitska's wife, was the only person allowed to wear it. This masterpiece is an essential testimony to the elegance of a bygone era. Tangerine and melon top notes, roses spiced up with prune as core notes and cedar wood, vetiver and leather base notes endow it with distinction. A cult and radiant perfume. About the Perfumer: Born in Nice in 1905, Edmond Roudnitska passed away in 1996. This "perfumer composer", as he defined himself, has profoundly marked his profession and his time. Considered by many to be the inventor of modern perfumery, he was one of the most important "noses" in history. He started as a chemist at Roure Bertrand Dupont were he gained an encyclopedic knowledge of natural and synthetic raw materials. This knowledge allowed him to develop the singularity of his very minimalist and stripped writing. His encounter with Serge Heftler-Louiche, founder of Christian Dior perfumes and Frédéric Malle's grandfather was decisive. Together they created many legendary perfumes: Eau Fraîche, Diorissimo, Diorella and the most emblematic Eau Sauvage.
