Hand and machine knitted, the orinoco kimono replicates the color palette or a fierce sunset. With a hand-braided belt and crocheted details. Tassels applications are handmade. This orinoco kimono is made in collaboration with knitting hope, an initiative by mision huascaran to train and empower women from rural low income areas. Currently, 81 artisans, women of all ages, are part of the team behind some of ESCVDO’s signature pieces.
